Planning for the Best

This image and the following are from the housing area where I live. Although the planners did put garbage drums and people do throw the garbage in them, while they can. Obviously the population has out grown the facilities. I always think about the town planners here, who planned for the best instead of planning for the worse. Let hope some one reads this and conveys it to them.

This is just a small example of ill planning which is common in this, otherwise beautiful, country called Pakistan. I live here and have every right to criticise.

  1. You should make a documentation out of it. Take a picture each week or so. See what happens.

trouble with garbage drums is they need to be emptied… We have a few dotted around the coastline that end up a bit like that occasionally.

Rubbish (or man’s unwanted) seems to be everywhere around the world. As kiwiskan says, garbage drums need to be emptied. I might add to that and say that there needs to be a place to bury the rubbish too. If we all recycled as much as possible and didn’t buy products that don’t break down and return to the earth, we would have far less rubbish to dispose of.

But in order to do that, manufacturers need to make packaging recyclable too.

Take more photos and send them to the local authorities that supposedly organise rubbish removal, perhaps?
