Eyes on Macro

Had some fun with macro photography. Found a stem of a plant interesting enough to shoot.

Following were shot with Nikkor 135mm and two extension tubes stacked, mounted on Fuji X-E1.

1. Focus set on infinity:

2. Loved the eyes in the view finder. Focused at minimum distance:

4. There were some details at the upper part of the frame:

5. I had shot this yesterday using the incredible Nikkor 55mm/3.5 Micro lens and one extension tube:

6. This shot was so beautiful that it deserved a little B & W treatment:

Nature looks lovely up close.

All shots are hand held and in very late afternoon (low light).

Macro can be very enjoyable. There is so much to see up close – like an entirely different world 🙂 Nice series of images.
