Macro Spring

By now you must have noticed that I like to take macro shots of flowers, plants and such. Here is a recent shot:

And I also like to play with conversion to black and white and try to simulate film look:

  1. I prefer the color. With this image, the color has so much more richness to it.

    For me, the black and white creates a unique minimalism…an almost abstract image. The photo becomes more delicate. Both versions are nice, though I am leaning towards the B&W.

    I agree with Mr. Allen–and with Mr. Pratt! Both images are beautiful. Perhaps I lean more toward the black-and-white image . . .
