I usually go for B&W, but there’s so much beauty that I think is lost in the conversion from color. Absolutely beautiful.

Great lighting in this very eerie looking place. I’m a fan of the colour version. Normally, I get frustrated when a window get overexposed – but in this case, I figure it adds to the image. Kind of an “unknown” about what is beyond 🙂
Thanks Mike. This was taken during my first trip to Istanbul and also the first travel with the then newly bought Nikon D40 with the kit lens. I was glad the a picture did come out in that dark passage. It is only know that I am able to look at it more critically and feel bold enough to do B&W conversion.
